Division 1 Finals

Billmeier Wins It All Over Berube in HBA D1 Finals

In a hard-fought championship showdown, Team Billmeier emerged victorious over Team Berube, securing a 28-17 win in the HBA D1 Finals.

Max Seligman led the way with 10 points, while Landon Billmeier contributed 8 points, helping to power their team to the title. Nick Cincotta paced Team Berube with 8 points, and Theo Stephens added 7 points, but their efforts weren’t enough to overcome Team Billmeier’s strong performance.

With clutch shooting and key defensive plays, Team Billmeier controlled the game down the stretch to claim the championship.

Division 2  Finals

Troiano Foils Fornal to Win It All in HBA D1 Finals

John Troiano delivered a dominant performance, pouring in 25 points to lead Team Troiano to a 46-36 victory over Team Fornal in the HBA D2 Finals. Carter Bowen and Jaydyn Mangat provided key support, adding 6 points each, as Team Troiano secured the championship.

On the other side, Andrew Young put up a strong effort with 20 points, while Mike Fornal contributed 10 points for Team Fornal. Despite their efforts, they couldn’t keep pace with Troiano’s offensive explosion.

With clutch scoring and solid team play, Team Troiano controlled the tempo and sealed the championship win.

Playoffs 

2/22/25

Team Lieu Advances with 28-21 Victory Over Team Buchert

Jovin Tannan scored a game-high 10 points, and Micah Lieu added 8 points to lead Team Lieu to a 28-21 win over Team Buchert. Ken Belli paced Team Buchert with 9 points, while Dan Buchert chipped in 7.  With the win, Team Lieu moves on to face Team Billmeier in the next round. Tip-off is set for 8 a.m. next Saturday, March 1st , 2025.

Team Chung Advances Past Team Reitz with 31-14 Win

Chase Kleepie led the way with 11 points, and John Dispoto added 7 points as Team Chung defeated Team Reitz 31-14. Connor Ryan scored 6 points to lead Team Reitz.

With the victory, Team Chung advances to the next round and will face Team Berube on Saturday, March 1, at 9 a.m.

D2 Playoffs 

Team McFarlane Advances Past Team Widener with 34-29 Victory

Luke Callihan and William Halko each scored 14 points, while James McFarlane added 6 points to lead Team McFarlane to a 34-29 win over Team Widener. Mike Widener paced Team Widener with 10 points, and Graham Etchberger and Arjun Kumar contributed 7 points apiece. Team McFarlane will play Team Troiano next Saturday March 1st at 12pm.

Team Luciano Advances Past Team Coats with 55-48 Win

Holden Rich poured in a game-high 33 points, and Charlie Nami added 14 points to lead Team Luciano to a 55-48 victory over Team Coats. Kaden Hanif led Team Coats with an impressive 27-point performance.

With the win, Team Luciano advances to face Team Fornal next Saturday, March 1, at 1 p.m.

Billmeier Advances Past Lieu
Boone Sferro scored 10 points, and Landon Billmeier added 5 to lead Team Billmeier to a 19-17 victory over Team Lieu. Dave Wasden contributed 5 points, while Jovin Tannan added 4 for Team Lieu. With the win, Team Billmeier advances to the next round, where they will face the winner of Lloyd vs. Singh next Saturday at 8 a.m.

Berube Advances Past Chung
Parker Berube scored 10 points, while Nick Cincotta added 8 to lead Team Berube to a 26-18 victory over Team Chung. Eric Peng and Chase Kleepie each contributed 6 points for Team Chung. With the win, Team Berube advances to the next round, where they will face the winner of Fornal vs. Walsh next Saturday at 9 a.m.

Fornal Advances Past Walsh
Finn Heide scored 20 points, and Patrick Fornal added 18 to lead Team Fornal to a 44-25 victory over Team Walsh. William Brito led Team Walsh with 13 points. With the win, Team Fornal advances to the next round, where they will face Team Berube next Saturday at 9 a.m.

Singh Advances Past Lloyd
Anders Arnesen scored 11 points, Brian Willson Jr. added 9, and Nathan Tang contributed 8 to lead Team Singh to a narrow 30-29 victory over Team Lloyd. Connor Widener had a standout performance for Team Lloyd, scoring 23 points. With the win, Team Singh will face Team Billmeier next Saturday at 8 a.m.

Troiano Advances Past McFarlane
John Troiano delivered a dominant performance, scoring 30 points to lead Team Troiano to a 36-33 victory over Team McFarlane. Luke Callihan scored 18 points, while William Halko added 11 for Team McFarlane. With the win, Team Troiano advances to the next round and will face the winner of LaRocca vs. Gelfman next Saturday at 10 a.m.

Fornal Advances Past Luciano
Andrew Young delivered a standout performance, scoring 37 points to lead Team Fornal to a 38-32 victory over Team Luciano. Holden Rich scored 19 points, while Charlie Nami added 10 for Team Luciano. With the win, Team Fornal advances to the next round and will face the winner of Team Serge vs. Team DeHonney next Saturday at 11 a.m.

Serge Advances Past DeHonney
Asher Serge and Beau Wasden each scored 17 points to lead Team Serge to a 42-30 victory over Team DeHonney. Jalen DeHonney contributed 13 points, while Declan Curley added 12 for Team DeHonney. With the win, Team Serge advances to the next round and will play Team Fornal next Saturday at 11 a.m.

LaRocca Advances Past Gelfman
Luke Branagh scored 23 points, and Sawyer Wagner added 10 to lead Team LaRocca to a 45-29 victory over Team Gelfman. Christian Helmrich contributed 13 points, while Aiden Squitieri and Charlie Gelfman each added 6 for Team Gelfman. With the win, Team LaRocca advances to the next round and will face Team Troiano next Saturday at 10 a.m.

Billmeier Advances to Finals with Win Over Singh

In a decisive semifinal matchup, Team Billmeier secured a 30-16 victory over Team Singh, punching their ticket to the Finals next Saturday. Max Seligman led the charge with 12 points, while Landon Billmeier contributed 7 to the winning effort.

Despite a strong effort from Team Singh, which saw Anders Arnesen and Brian Willison Jr. each score 6 points, they couldn't overcome Team Billmeier's balanced attack.

Team Billmeier now awaits the winner of the Berube vs. Fornal matchup, with the championship game set for 9 a.m. next Saturday.

Berube Advances to Finals with Narrow Win Over Fornal

In a thrilling semifinal showdown, Team Berube edged out Team Fornal with a hard-fought 30-27 victory to earn their spot in the HBA Winter Hoops Finals. Parker Berube led the way with 13 points, while Nick Cincotta added 8 to help seal the win.

Team Fornal put up a strong fight, with Patrick Fornal matching the game-high 13 points and Finn Heide contributing 7, but they came up just short in the final moments.

Troiano Advances to Finals with Victory Over LaRocca

Team Troiano secured their spot in the HBA Winter Hoops Finals with a commanding 46-29 win over Team LaRocca. John Troiano delivered a standout performance, leading all scorers with 24 points, while Liam Buchert added 12 points and Carter Bowen chipped in 8 to fuel the victory.

Despite a strong effort from Team LaRocca, led by Luke Branagh’s 11 points and Sawyer Wagner’s 8, they were unable to keep pace with Troiano’s offensive firepower.

With the win, Team Troiano moves on to the championship game, where they will face the winner of Fornal vs. Serge next Saturday at 11 a.m. in a highly anticipated showdown.

Fornal Edges Serge to Advance to Finals

In a nail-biting semifinal battle, Team Fornal clinched a 41-40 victory over Team Serge, securing their place in the HBA Winter Hoops Finals. Andrew Young led the charge with 18 points, while Mik Fornal added 9 to help push their team over the finish line.

Team Serge fought hard until the final buzzer, with Asher Serge scoring 17 points and Brandon Chung and Beau Wasden contributing 6 each, but they fell just short in a thrilling finish.

With the win, Team Fornal moves on to face Team Troiano next Saturday at 11 a.m. in what promises to be an exciting championship showdown.
